A&A Power
Generator sales, service and repair for South Florida, with a WooCommerce catalogue, consultation requests and English and Spanish versions.
About the project
A&A Power Generators has sold, repaired and maintained home and industrial generators in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County since 2001. The site pairs a searchable WooCommerce product catalogue and cart with consultation requests, service and support pages, a section for builders and electricians, and English and Spanish versions.
The challenge
A&A Power Generators has sold, installed and serviced generators across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach since 2001. In South Florida a generator is bought before hurricane season or in a hurry after an outage, so buyers need to find the right model, the right service or a technician fast.
The company also serves builders and electricians, and customers who prefer Spanish, so one site had to work for homeowners, trade partners and two languages.
The solution
I built the site on WordPress with a custom theme, hosted on WP Engine behind Cloudflare, with WooCommerce powering the generator catalogue. A mega menu organises generators by type and brand, alongside dedicated routes for builders and electricians and for service and support.
The homepage explains the promise of Dedicated Power in plain terms, then covers preventative maintenance and emergency repair, with a direct line to a bilingual technician who can talk customers through most alarms. A Power Assistant helps undecided visitors choose the right generator or support path.
The store uses quick view, AJAX filtering and product comparison to make choosing easier, takes payment through WooCommerce Payments and Authorize.net, and feeds products to Google through Listings & Ads. Gravity Forms handles consultation requests.
