Corporate & Business
Doering Darcie
A Portuguese-language site for a Brazilian law firm practising since 1977 across corporate, tax, family and labour law.
About the project
Doering & Darcie is a law firm in Porto Alegre and São Paulo, practising since 1977 across corporate, tax, family and succession, criminal, labour and social security law. The Portuguese-language site presents the firm, its practice areas and its lawyers.
The challenge
Doering & Darcie has practised law in Porto Alegre and São Paulo since 1977, across corporate, tax, family and succession, criminal, labour and social security law. Clients arrive with a specific problem and want to know quickly whether the firm handles it and who they would be speaking to.
As a long-established firm it also needed to look current, publish legal insight, and reassure clients outside its two cities that it can act for them nationally.
The solution
I built a fast, hand-coded site in Portuguese, served behind Cloudflare. It opens with what makes the firm different, full-service practice, specialist lawyers, personal attention and legal certainty, and a direct invitation to speak to a lawyer.
Practice areas are grouped into two simple paths, business and operations or personal and family, so visitors do not need to know legal terminology to find the right team. A lawyers section introduces the specialists, and an articles section publishes dated insight on topics such as family holding companies and tax reform.
An FAQ answers the practical questions up front, including that the firm serves clients across Brazil through electronic proceedings and video hearings.
