Personal & Portfolio
Hamed Rodriguez
An architecture practice's site, led by a full-width gallery of residential work, with publications and firm pages.
About the project
The website of Hamed Rodriguez Architects Inc., an architecture practice. It showcases residential projects through a full-width image gallery, alongside pages on the firm, its publications and contact details.
The challenge
Hamed Rodriguez Architects designs residential, hospitality and commercial buildings, and for an architecture practice the work is the pitch. The site had to present large, high-quality photography beautifully and let the buildings speak for themselves.
At the same time, the firm needed to be able to add new projects and publications easily as its portfolio grows.
The solution
I built the site on WordPress with the Divi theme and a custom child theme. The homepage is led by a full-width slider, built with Smart Slider 3, showing completed residences and developments with minimal text, so the architecture fills the screen.
Projects are organised by type, including residential and hotels and resorts, with hover boxes revealing project names in the gallery. Pages for the firm, publications and contact complete the site, all managed from the WordPress dashboard.
