Kobus Kenobi

Kobus Kenobi currently presents Y.O.D.A. (Your Operational Data Assistant), a full-screen, HUD-style interface in green with animated radar rings, data readouts and a boot-up sequence. It's an animation-led front end rather than a conventional content site.

Kobus Kenobi runs the same Y.O.D.A. concept as Pimboas, Your Operational Data Assistant, as the front door for a second domain. The brief was a version with its own identity, in green, that still felt like part of the same system.

As with the original, the interface had to feel alive, with radar sweeps, counters and status lines, and still load instantly.

I adapted the hand-coded Y.O.D.A. front end into a green variant for kobus-kenobi.nl. It keeps the boot sequence, verifying a biometric signature, establishing a secure link and connecting to the grid, before the full-screen HUD comes online with radar rings, data readouts and a running counter.

Because it is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no framework, the two sites share one lightweight codebase and differ only in theme, which keeps both fast and easy to maintain.
