Legacy Sherpa
A reflective practice that accompanies people through significant points in life, told partly in clients' own words.
About the project
Legacy Sherpa offers sustained, unhurried accompaniment for individuals at a significant point in life — attending to who they are becoming, not only what they've accumulated. The site describes the work and shares clients' own words.
The challenge
Legacy Sherpa, part of The Legacy Office, offers something hard to describe and harder to sell: sustained, unhurried accompaniment for successful people at a turning point, a business exit, retirement, a significant birthday, who sense that something still feels unfinished. They are not in crisis, and they do not respond to programmes or promises of transformation.
The site had to speak to that reader with the same restraint as the work itself, and sit comfortably alongside the financial advice these clients already receive.
The solution
I built a quiet, text-led site, hand-coded with a Bootstrap grid. It opens with a single line, you have arrived at something significant, and something still feels unfinished, then describes the two moments people usually arrive, at a transition or at a distance, in a few careful sentences.
The approach is explained without jargon, not a program but an accompaniment, and anonymous words from clients such as a top wealth advisor and a CFO give it credibility. Like its sister site Telios Influence, it ends with a gentle invitation rather than a sales pitch, and the minimal build keeps it fast.
