Lifeline Corp Shop
Lifeline's online shop for wheelchairs, hospital furniture, oxygen concentrators, AEDs and other home care products.
About the project
The online shop for Lifeline Corporation, which has served the community with home care and rehabilitation products since 1991. Customers can buy wheelchairs, hospital furniture, oxygen concentrators, AEDs and other patient-support aids online, alongside its retail showrooms.
The challenge
Lifeline's retail customers are usually buying for someone they care for: a parent who needs a wheelchair, a family setting up a hospital bed at home, an office that needs an AED. They need to find the right item quickly, understand it, and know they can get help if something goes wrong.
The range is wide, covering mobility, home care, rehabilitation, hospital furniture, respiratory and emergency equipment, and some items are rented rather than sold.
The solution
I built the online shop on Shopify for the Singapore market, priced in Singapore dollars. The navigation mirrors how customers think about care, mobility, home care, rehabilitation, hospital, respiratory and emergency, with clear sub-categories such as lightweight or motorised wheelchairs, commodes and oxygen concentrators.
A rental service sits in the same menu for equipment people only need for a while, and flagship products such as AEDs have their own detailed pages. The footer answers the reassurance questions up front: office and showroom hours, phone lines and after-hours technical and respiratory support numbers.
