Salt and Palm Photography

Salt and Palm Photography is a team of professional photographers in the California Bay Area with more than ten years of experience, offering either a single photographer or a two-person team for weddings and events.

Salt and Palm is a team of wedding photographers based in the California Bay Area and Salt Lake City, who love adventurous outdoor locations and travel to places like Jackson Hole, Aspen and Hawaii. Couples choose a photographer on feeling, so the galleries had to be front and centre.

The site also needed to make the two options clear, a single photographer or a team of two, and make getting in touch as easy as possible.

I built a fast, static site with Bootstrap and deployed it on Netlify. The gallery menu is organised by wedding, Halekulani in Honolulu, Grand Teton, Zion National Park and a magazine-style Bay Area wedding, so couples can picture their own day in similar settings.

The about section introduces the team in a personal voice, I can't wait to meet you, and speaks directly to adventure-loving couples. Social links, a phone number and a message form sit together at the end, so the next step is always obvious.
